After a period of suspension of visa-on-arrival services for foreign tourists who want to come to Vietnam, today we are pleased to inform tourists that visa-on-arrival has reopened for some selected countries. Tourists are allowed to enter Vietnam for travel and work with a visa on arrival.

After many fluctuations in the epidemic, everything will gradually change, and Vietnam’s tourism industry will also change. There are also many changes in Vietnam visa regulations, so let us see which aspect has changed.

Visa on arrival reopened

The visa policy for foreigners who want to enter Vietnam is different. There are countries that allow the use of electronic visas (E Visa) to enter Vietnam, and there are countries that must use visas on arrival to enter Vietnam. You should find out which visa type is offered for the passport you hold.

To know more about what is Electronic Visa (E Visa) and Visa on Arrival, and the list of countries that allow the use of Electronic Visa, please click on the link for more details.

Or you can directly go to the homepage of the following website: https://www.visa-vietnam.hk/to check which visa you are eligible for. In the Select Country box, select your country and select the type of visa you want, the website will display the results.

Some countries that are not on the list of possible E-visa applications must use a visa on arrival to enter Vietnam. Previously, when this visa was not reopened, it was quite inconvenient for tourists to apply for a Vietnam visa, and tourists had to contact or directly go to the nearest Vietnamese embassy/consulate to apply for a visa to enter Vietnam. It is very inconvenient for some countries without a Vietnamese embassy/consulate. Moreover, moving is also quite difficult, time-consuming and labor-intensive.

At present, Vietnam visa on arrival has been reopened for some countries that cannot apply for electronic visa. The process of applying for a Vietnam visa through visa on arrival is also very simple, and all operations will be completely online. Now only a one-month single-entry visa is provided, other types such as one-month multiple-entry and three-month multiple-entry are not available yet.
