Prepare some documents before entering

Fill out the NA1 form in advance, and prepare a 2-inch photo with a white or blue background to attach on the NA1 form. Prepare 25 USD (single entry visa) or 50 USD (multiple entry visa) in cash for paying the stamp fee. On arrival, proceed to the "visa on arrival" / "landing visa" counter then submit your original passport, visa approval letter, NA1 form, and stamp fee. Wait to get back your passport with the Vietnam visa stamped.

Documents to prepare before applying Vietnam e-visa

The documents required are very simple

  • Passport must be valid for at least 6 months The passport information page should contain the following information: Passport number, full name, gender, nationality, date of birth and passport expiration date.
  • Fill out Vietnam visa application form (NA1 form) Print and fill out the required information in form NA1 to save time when entering Vietnam. Only accept information filled in English.
  • Prepare two 2-inch (4x6cm or 3.5x5.5cm) portrait photo The photo must be in color, full face, have a white or simple color background, eyes straight and open, no hat, glasses or neck scarf.
  • Estimated entry date You should schedule your plan in advance to fill in an expected entry date that suitable for you. Because the length of stay is calculated from the entry date you have filled in. For entry date, you can arrive later than, but not earlier than.
