Impact on Visa Processing

As this is a public holiday in Vietnam, the Immigration Department will be closed on August 19th. Therefore, any visa applications that require approval will not be processed on this day and will be moved to the following day.

If you have already applied for a visa on the Vietnam Government website (evisa.xuatnhapcanh.gov.vn) from August 14th until now, please expect a delay in receiving approval. This delay will affect all types of visas, including e-visa and visa approval letter.

  • Holiday date: August 19th, 2024
  • Visa processing delay: All applications submitted on Vietnam Government website from August 14th to August 19th will be processed after 3-4 working days (does not including Saturday, Sunday and August 19th)
